Making a caculator that is able to do the thing below
Basic arithmetical operations:
addition, subtraction, multiplication. You may skip the division.
Additional operations:
comparisons (equality, less than, greater than,
factorial, square root, logarithm.
Other capabilities:
storing and retrieving a number in/from a file, error checking when creating a large number from a string or a file. The GUI should include a number of buttons corresponding to digits and operations, and a single line text field for presenting numbers. Besides enable the following: entering numbers using the text field, presenting a number using the scientific notation, if it is too large to fit the single line text field, displaying a multi line text field (possibly with scroll bars) for editing large numbers that do not fit within the single line text field. reading/writing a number to/from a file using menu, storing/retrieving a number in/from a memory cell using dedicated buttons.
Make it simple, and easy to understand, it doesn't have to be so fancy.
