Seeking a web developer to work on an hourly contract basis to help build a web-based infrastructure to provide free cognitive training interventions to help reduce symptoms of mental illness. The position would involve collaborating with the Teachman Program for Anxiety, Cognition, and Treatment (a clinical psychology lab at the University of Virginia; see www.Teachman.org), and Project Implicit, a non-profit organization that helps build web-based research tools and raises awareness about implicit social cognition (thoughts and feelings outside of conscious awareness and control; see http://projectimplicit.net).
The contract could either be completed by a person working full-time on the project, or part-time. Start date is negotiable, but we would like the bulk of the work completed over the summer.
The team is mainly located in Charlottesville, VA, but working remotely is a possibility. To apply, please send a resume or CV, contact information for two references familiar with your work, and a cover letter explaining your background and interest in the position.
