Project Description:
I have a dating site which allows users to upload songs, video and pictures. Each profile can have multiple songs/videos/pictures, and the filenames/paths are stored in a mysql db.
What I need is a flash program (or similar) which will play this media. View the attachment for a visual of the flash player area. The icons on the right are used to switch between Audio, Video and Pictures. The buttons at the bottom are used to Play, Pause and Navigate the selected media type.
When one mp3/video/picture is done, continue playing the next one that the person has uploaded.
A bonus would be a player that integrates with mysql to pull the media from the db... how else will the media be determined?
Slideshow gallery for pictures: Clicking play will give a slideshow effect, switching between the uploaded images. The Back and Forward buttons will navigate through the uploaded pictures.
We have a screen (already coded) to view all uploaded media, which is displayed in the main content area. The user can click on an MP3 or Video or Picture and it will show/play in the player. So a function is required, which needs to accept a filename (of an mp3 or video or picture) and the flash player should automatically start playing it (and auto select the media type icon on the right).
Nice to have: When listening to MP3's it would show one simple visualization in the player area (similar to what you see when playing mp3's in Windows Media Player).
I would really like to hear from people that already have something done that supports most of these features. Then you can simply customize it to match my requirements.
