Hi there, my name is Stephen [developer name 'sevoxx'] Lake and I'm reasonbly new to Freelancer.com -- I understand this is a profitable web page most, if not all of you are looking for some way to make money. The project I am proposing is currently non-profitable due to the fact that it's a one-man-army (myself). I have spend the last 2 or so years developing an instant messaging network, client and web back-end. It has come to my attention that this is a rather large project to take on myself and am looking for potential developers to join me. At the moment all work is non-profit and every cent spent has come out of my own pocket to keep my domain, hosting and VPS's alive. I am not earning any salary nor any sort of income out of this project *as of yet*. It is planned however to bring in an income when the environment is in working order. The purpose of this post is to find genuine, passionate developers to join me on this project and help me get to the point needed to start earning some paper. I will be paying potential employees for certain aspects of the project based on performance and quality, but for the lesser I will not. The organizations name is currently 'Variance Networks' -- I have bought a placeholder template and hosting at www.variance.co.za -- Some general area's that need assistance; PostgreSQL Administrator & Database Designer, Java SwingUI Expert, PHP Developer with advanced CodeIgniter 2.x experience, Linux Security Admin, Social Networker/Marketing Agent.
