We need someone to work with us on a permanent ongoing basis with our site that is on the www.bigcommerce.com platform.
Work to be performed will vary from week to week and also the amount of time as well. We will try to schedule at least 2-5 hrs of work a week but some weeks there may not be any work needing to be done but there will never at this time be more than 2-5hrs of work needed this time. As our needs grow we would like the hired firm/person to be able to accommodate our needs for more time needed from them.
This is a permanent part-time position.
To be eligible for this position you must have the following requirements.
You must have considerable experience with the BigCommerce platform or a very, very good understanding of the layout of the design method and how its incorporated by the themes used in BigCommerce. Submitting links to any work done in reference to the BigCommerce platform is a plus.
The ability to do both programming(HTML, PHP, CSS, XML, some RSS) and graphical work as well(banner creation, facebook covers)
At least some feedback on the www.freelancer.com site
At least a score of 85% or higher on English
A respectable portfolio of past work done with both graphical and programming skills displayed.
If you are selected for this job you will be required to have skype calls with us to better explain our needs programming wise from time to time.
We will not accept any bids under $10 an hour / We will not accept any bids over $20 dollars an hour
All work will be assigned on Sunday around 10pm CT and be expected to be completed at the latest by the next Sunday 10pm CT unless special instruction is given to have it done by a specific time and date in which a minimum of 24-72rs will be allotted to the programmer depending on the severity of the needs. All work assigned will be given a specific amount of hrs credited for it. All work will be verified before payment is issued by PayPal.
We are programmers ourselves so we are looking for a fellow professional programmer that we can give some of our work to from time to time, with skills that can help us out in the long term not just short.
