I need a in-web-browser Java application doing that:- checking the user's AudioCD (if it's insterted to CD-Rom drive)
- calculating it's DiscID (needed for freedb) and sending it to my PHP file.
That's all.
Not necceserly pure JAVA, but with no additional instalation for user, please.

The job is quite well with us...we can make a simple html page with a web start application embedded, and that application will automatically read the Cd info and send the result to the php file, if u have a smtp host, i can evn mail the info to your mail id. This would even not require and hard installtion on users machine.
