Project Description:

I am currently developing a website for a client and am looking to integrate an animated image banner as the focal point of the homepage. The client does not want any flash elements within the site but is hoping to showcase four slides that can be viewed by a simple click of an arrow. Each slide should also serve as a link to a particular page within the site.

I have uploaded a couple of slides to serve as examples. Slide dimensions are 910 x 320 px

I am looking for a developer to create the banner slideshow in either Javascript or Ajax. Ideally, the script will be provided in “notepad” format and I will then be able to paste the code into the site. The method for integrating the script into the site is obviously open to discussion.

The code will need be versatile enough so that alternative images can be dropped in to replace the existing slides by myself at a later date if required. The images will all be a consistent size so no drastic changes to the script should be needed.

I have provided a sample Jpeg as to how the banner may look when navigating through the slides (see uploads). I have also found a couple of links of similar banner designs for further reference.
