A website offering bought games of 90 ball bingo and cash prizes. 9 different bingo lobbies at this stage - lucky charm, free, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2, $5, $10 per bingo card. Up to 3 cards can be bought. If one lobby fills (max 50 cards sold) the overflow of people wanting to play will be directed to another lobby of the same type e.g. 10c. At this stage I'm thinking a cash prize of 200% buy in price is awarded to the first 10 people in a lobby that mark off a line. A cash prize of 1000% goes to the player that marks off a full card first, at which point the game has ended and a new game countdown can begin. 50 cards are available per lobby per game, and all must be sold before the game can begin. The other option is to have the game start once a minimum of 15 cards (max 50) are bought and vary the prizes as a percentage of how much profit has been made from the cards sold. Either way the chances of winning must be equal for everyone playing in the same type of lobby.
User can create avatars or upload pics for identity. An ingame chat option. Simulating actual bingo, once in the lobby players are seated around a table (maybe have webcam livestream available?) and can chat until the game begins (eyes down!)
All profits (after prize payout) will go to charities, and player will be able to select the charity they want their buyin payment to go to when entering a lobby before purchasing bingo cards from credit held in their account. The $5 and $10 games will have a limited numbers called jackpot, with a lesser prize being awarded after the called number limit for the jackpot has been passed. Players will acquire tokens for each game they play relative to how much they spend and will be able to cash in for lucky charms available in "Lucky Charms shop" in the form of animals, objects like horse shoes etc. Once lucky charms to the value of 100 tokens have been purchased the user will be eligible to play 5 games of lucky charms bingo a day, in which cash prizes are available for no buy in cost. There will be an auto dauber function which can be turned on/off, and an automatic bingo call function for players with auto daub turned on, which can also be turned on/off.
The site will be used as a fundraising tool for charities that wish to purchase the service, so the website should have an emphisis on the chartiies available to play for, with a charity of the day blurb on the homepage along with links to bingo game lobbies, link to registration (mandatory for paid games), link to full list and info on all charities participating, terms and conditions, link to tutorial, link to lucky charm shop, link to responsible gaming page, link to statistics page with graphs showing what percentage of money has gone where, contact us.
Has to be user friendly to the older generation, so big font sizes, option to magnify game cards, easy navigation. I think a tab style across the width of the page would be best. It should be colourful with some flashing icons, but not gaudy and over the top because it needs to look respectable...but fun.
I will need to be able to update different charities onto the website from time to time also.
Along with the website I would like to have a simpler app version available on both android and iphone for free download.
My business will be called Charity Games (www.charitygames.com.au) with a view to offer games other than bingo so I think I would advertise the bingo link as www.charitygames.com.au/bingo ?? This parent page will have basic information about the business like mission, about us, contact us, services available, current news.
Attached is the type of bingo card to be made available although this image was taken from the web so the exact patterns of stars can't be used.
