If you look under "folio->beauty"... you will see an automatic horizontal scroll using jquery. Our issues is that we have hundreds of images, and the scroll becomes unusable at that point, and very slow to load.
We've fixed the slow loading with lazyload (currently, our images load on hover):

We want the current scroll removed and following scrolling action/interface to be added to our horizontal scroll:

You will have to integrate the horizontal scroll with lazyload by creating a custom jquery event that loads blocks of images based on the value of the unordered list left position. We also want an elegant horizontal scroll bar on the bottom to quickly go to the start or end of our list. Something that looks like this:
