Project Description:
Looking for help with turning conceptual and graphic ideas into a living and breathing social media website. We need a person/people who understands how to translate aesthetic into practical functionality across all website interactions. We are currently working on some ideas for look, feel, color and theme. The site will be simple and intuitive, with as short a learning curve as possible. It must make sense to the user right off the bat and each section and iteration of the site should be integrated and consistent. This will involve back and forth communication regarding graphic design and actual art to be used for buttons, boxes, headers, etc. It will be useful if you have utility in that regard and especially useful if you can work with us to figure out how to design and create the pieces to fit together and work to accomplish the usability and interactive goals. Familiarity with the coding of sites like Facebook, Pinterest and Tumblr is heavily preferred. Basically, we are coming up with the creative, the flow, the look, and you are executing it in the context of a functional and modern social media website. We are looking to launch the site within 6 months and design and revision of design will probably take place over the course of a month or two. Exact number of hours is not yet known.
