Duplicate and Improve A Java Script

Project Description:
I was given permission to duplicate existing code that was used for a fundraiser. I want to hopefully improve upon for another rescue group.

This is what we'd like to have:

The thought here is that we could begin the tree with grey screens on all of the colored pieces and that each donation could light up an element. For the really large amount we could have the star divided into 5 parts to come into color as a donation is made. We can also ad more bulbs and bells to literally fill up the tree.
