A person skilled in stenography/shorthand is required to transcribe my scanned notes into text.
Knowledge of any shorthand system is welcome, with Cross-eclectic, Pitman and Greg preferred in that order, and above all else.
Must have intimate knowledge of abbreviations in chosen system and be able to read technical abbreviations. A constant stream of notes will be created at a rate around 2000 words per day. Given a week's notice, this may increase 30,000 words per day. Ability to meet this flow would be highly beneficial, as would the ability to transcribe archive boxes full of notes in Cross-eclectic from earlier times. A fast typing speed of at least 30wpm will be of use, the usage of a stenotype even more so. Needless to say, this is an ongoing project which will continue indefinitely. $240 per hour would be for the perfect candidate: >300wpm sustained, ability to reply within the hour, no minimum time per day, ability to schedule 30,000 words within a days notice, and an upbeat attitude.
Please respond with systems you are acquainted and skilled with, and follow up with a scanned copy of this text transcribed into your preferred stenography system; after all, it would only take a minute.
