Hi There
We have a newly installed Open ERP 7 machine.
I have exported all the companies to a csv file and the contacts to seperate csv file.
all these companies and contacts were previously in VTiget. (not that makes any difference at this stage)
I need this information imported into Open ERP so that I have all the companies imported with the relevant contacts in the correct.
a sample of each csv file is attached.
I do not need all the columns of data. I have specifed the following as being required fields, the rest can be dropped Using Excel to do this is a problem in that editing a csv file in excel drops the leading number 0 in the phone number fields. else I'd have cleaned the files first. If you have a better method you will need to show me.
Company details required are:
Company Name (account Name) Phone Website Facebook Page Industry Fax Email Address City State Postal Code Country Description
Contacts details required are:
Salutation First Name Last Name Office Phone Company/Account Name Mobile phone Phone Title Email Birthdate Skype
Some of these fields are not standard fields so you will need to let me know if they can be imported or not.
You will have a test database to play with and once we have a tested and working import using the samples provided. you will be provided with the full data files, I will create a new Database and will need to know how to import this data myself for future data imports.
