Project Description:
We wish to add extra harddisks to our servers, as we are running out of diskspace.
We are currently using a HostRAID-ICH10R Raid-Controller for both servers.

Server A: 2 500 GB Disks in Raid 1.
Server B: 2 1 TB GB Disks in Raid 1.

We want to add 2-4 more disks to each server, and prefer to use Raid 10.(aka 1+0).
We are searching for an experienced person who is able to support us in making this migration WITHOUT losing DATA in the most efficient way.

CURRENTLY USING: (ONLY SUPPORTS RAID 0 OR RAID 1)
ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/CDR-X8_1.22_for_Intel_X8_platform/MANUALS/Adaptec_ESB_ICH7R_ICH9R_SATA_RAID.pdf

CAN SWITCH TO: (this setting supports RAID 5 & 10 on top of 0 and 1)
ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/CDR-X8_1.22_for_Intel_X8_platform/MANUALS/Intel_ICH7R%20_ICH9R_%20ICH10R_HostRAID.pdf

It seems when you change the Raid Controller "Firmware" from Adaptec to Intel(which is possible from the SuperMicro BIOS), the CURRENT Raid Arrays will be lost.
So, the main issue is to make an EFFICIENT backup WITHOUT data loss, limited time loss and to place all data back into a new RAID 10 setup(or anything better/efficient) with 4-6 disks using our current Raid Controller.
Thus (HIGHLY preferably) without re-installing any OS, or any other discrepancies.

So Once again, we are looking for an Expert to provide us with the Best
Options/Recommendations/Support to achieve the preferred result above.
