Raspberry Pi Project Quad
To design software to work on the Raspberry Pi system to operate a small quad business by remote control
The system needs to operate by the means of displaying various screensaves in the form of adverts, a control panel to allow the adverts to be changed from time to time. The adverts needs to run constantly which will be displayed on 3 monitors setup round the quad track.
Once a signal is received from a remote control transmitter which will input in to the raspberry pi giving it the start signal the system needs to count down 5,4,3,2,1 on the screens also speaking this countdown through the audio output. Once the countdown has finished a horn type noise needs to be sounded from the audio jack and a timer needs to start running which will be displayed on the screens. The timer needs to be able to be changed but more than likely it will be around 5 minutes. Once the horn has sounded the system needs to energise a relay which we will use to start the quads going.
Once the timer expires after its 5 minutes or so it will need to sound the horn again from the audio jack and de-energise the relay. At this point the adverts can be started again automatically until the system receives the signal again to start over.
