Improve Logo concept

I have a logo concept i like, see attached. However, it is a little boring and i want to make more exciting by making the dot to the "i" in ns"i"ghts more interesting. I attached a ray of light example so you can get an idea of what the dot could be made into. Also, the old Pixar logo could service as a little inspiration. This job should be very simple. I like the font (candara, a vista font) and i like the colors. I just want to add something interesting to the dot of a single letter.
The final deliverable will be a logo that i can use on a black background for the website (see mock-up of the website page) and a logo that i can use on white background business cards.
This should be a very easy and simple project for a designer. Only designers make a bid please.
