Project Description:
Hi, I need a simple working prototype app of the following concept.

As everyone knows, non UI-Agent OS X applications have an icon in the dockbar. I need to work out the screen coordinates and size of my running applications dock icon without using the accessibility API (which uses AXUIElementRef).

I've already had a look at NSDockTile but if you set a contentView it zeros the origin and gives a generic 128x128 size and not the actual dock zoom size. The closest solution I've found so far is using an AppDeligate "applicationShouldHandleReopen" to capture a generic [NSEvent mouseLocation], but this just gives a random point inside the dock icon where the user has clicked and not the actual origin or size.

The reason I want this information is to find the top centre of the icon so that a popup window can be "attached".

This technically might not be possible but if someone has a solution I will pay :)
