Hello fellow freelancers!
Today I've got an interesting task. I purchased a Magento extension for my client's website, but I'm having an issue with it:
Fatal error: Class 'Zend_Log' not found in /path.to.magento.installation/store/app/code/local/GoMage/Checkout/Block/Adminhtml/System/Config/Fieldset/Help.php on line 48
Here's the other issue: This website just launched yesterday, and the extension development support team won't be back in the office until Monday. What's worse is that they won't provide technical support without paying an extra $150. Ugh! We need this fixed asap!
1.) The registration key provided by the developer is not working. One possibility is that the license key was registered for the base url, not the sub-directory where Magento is installed. That's my best guess since the 2nd extension I purchased and installed a few minutes ago (from the same company) activated correctly and is working fine.
What I would like you to do is see if you can quickly troubleshoot the cause of this error (whether it's a Zend issue, Magento issue, etc). Then, if you can fix this problem and get the extension to work (whatever it takes!), you will provide me with an estimated cost for fixing it.
Again, your bid should be for troubleshooting the issue. Then, if you believe you can fix it, you will provide a cost estimate for it.
I will provide login credentials to VERY REPUTABLE providers only (if you want to see before bidding the project).
