Candidate should have experience in Lighting sales into projects, working with Architects / Contractors / Builders and doing direct sales.
1.To generate project leads.
2.To develop relations with the key people in Builder as well as Commercial Segments (MNCs) viz. in-house architects, client"s purchase department, Government Segment viz. NDMC, MCD, Authorities, Defense, Railways, Healthcare and Institutions Segments viz. in-house architects, client"s purchase department, Hospitality and Retail Segments viz. in-house architects, client"s purchase department, Industrial segment viz. in-house architects, client"s purchase department etc. to churn out major business.
3.Prepare and implement daily and weekly sales action plans.
4.Schedule sales activity
5.Develop and maintain customer database
6.Develop various sales activity records and prepare sales reports for MIS
7.Plan and conduct marketing activities with immediate superiors
8.Make sales calls to new and existing clients
9.Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
10.Negotiate with clients
11.Develop sales proposals
12.Conduct product training at client end and at distributor end with the help of Lighting Specialists.
13.Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
14.Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
15.Follow up on sales activity
16.Perform checks on product and service delivery
17.Conduct market research and surveys
18.Participate in sales & Marketing events
19.Monitor competitors, market conditions and competitor"s product development
Education and Experience
1.Knowledge of relevant computer applications
2.Should have minimum experience of 2 Years in sales of electrical and electronics products specially in Lighting
3.Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
4.Knowledge of customer service principles
5.Knowledge of basic business principles
6.Experience in making presentations (Mandatory)
7.Proven ability to achieve sales targets
8.Should be an Engineer atleast, specially from Electrical or Electronics branch, MBA - Marketing would be an added advantage
9.Should have his/her own vehicle for commuting (Mandatory)
