Advantage Media Group is a publisher of business and self help books across many industries. Several of our authors are also speakers looking to book paid speaking engagements over the next year.
We are seeking a responsible, motivated individual who can research, cold-call and submit relevant marketing materials on behalf of our speaking clients. This person should have experience finding new ways to approach the same challenge. He/she should be able to meet pre-determined weekly milestones and debrief a project manager on the weekly progress and results. Outreach is a key component of the role and requires active calling and emailing of event planners, association members, and other corporate contacts in an effort to build a relationship and negotiate a keynote or workshop. Administrative tasks may include compiling marketing materials and filling out forms to be submitted for specific conference events. Prior experience in sales or public relations outreach a plus.
This position will require 8 - 12 hours per week for approximately three months. We are seeking a commitment from someone who is driven by results and can get started quickly with outbound calling.
