This project is for Watchsend. We provide software for iPhone developers to install in order to see analytics of their mobile app users. We show video recordings’ of users’ activity to the developer too.
Companies that currently use Watchsend:
-Typically range from 1-15 employees
-Are early stage in the company’s history (recently founded to founded only a few years ago & haven't reached a Series C, if raised money at all)
-At least 50 reviews on the app store (all reviews, not just the most recent version)
-App updated sometime after November 1, 2013 (mentioned in the Apple App Store app description)
-Have a popular iPhone app (at least a few hundred users, though usually at least a few thousand actively using the app)
Have an iPhone app in one of these categories: Business, Education, Entertainment, Finance, Food & Drink, Health & Fitness, Kids, Lifestyle, Photo & Video, Productivity, Social Networking, Sports, Travel, Utilities,
-Located in the United States
-Usually funded by venture capital (at least $500,000; this can be found on their Crunchbase profile)
We’re seeking companies that have similar characteristics to the ones mentioned above. There is leeway on the number of employees. It’s OK if you collect contacts from companies that have up to 50 employees or so. It’s also OK if the company has not raised funding.
Please reach out to contacts at companies who work in: Product (uses title variations with the word Product), Marketers (uses title variations of the word marketing), CEO or CTO (typically uses Watchsend when the company has less than 6 employees). If you’re unable to find contact information for any of those, please note an employee’s info with the word iOS in their title, or a high-up technology role like VP of Engineering. If you’re unable to find anyone with these titles at a company, do no log the company’s information down as a contact.
Please obtain, based on the employee characteristics above, emails for two different employees in the titles mentioned above. If you’re unable to find two, one contact will suffice. Only note the work email address (such as , not the standard email address for support or general issues).
To find company employees, I would recommend searching Crunchbase, LinkedIn, AngelList and validate with the team page on their site. You can also look for relevant companies that have recently been in the news on sites like TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, VentureBeat or Mashable. Then, you can use Rapportive (Gmail plugin) and/or mailtester.com to validate an employee’s email address.
I will invite you to Streak (basically an Excel spreadsheet inside Gmail) to add this information to each category:
- Contact’s first and last name
- Contact’s email address
- Brief description of company type (2-5 words please)
These 5 hours are a test trial. You should be able to source roughly 15 leads per hour. For 5 hours, I would expect you to generate 75 new leads.
I want to have a video chat or phone conversation before you begin. I just want to brief you on the project and make sure it's clear how you're able to complete this project.
If you perform quality work, we’re looking to have someone do this nearly full-time over the next few months.
Message me back with any questions regarding this project.
Super important to note, the company must have an iPhone app. Watchsend only works well with iPhone apps. Watchsend does not work well with iPad or Android apps.
