VPS Pricing - repost

Hi

I'm looking for someone to help out with am algorithm (I guess - i'm very bad at maths!) that essentially allows me to work out how much vps should cost, but there's (I think some advanced stuff to think about).

I guess we would need feed it some information such as:

Cost of the server
Resources of the server (RAM, HDD, Cores for example)

Then once It know all of that, I want it to be able to feed it the spec of a potential VPS and it tell how much it costs (so that I can then add margin etc).

It could also be that i'm going about this the wrong way.

Hopefully with all the facts etc someone can advise/help me.
