I have a optimization problem to solve in Matlab.
A lot of the work is already done for this first part. Biggest issue is to correct mistakes.
I and sending you the photos of the problem atached and also the code i have done so far.
I will explain here exactly what has to be done(i dont know a lot of matlab so may be hard to explain sorry)
The point os to optimize the target function using the function fmincon
The decision valiable is a vector X that includes 4 vector inside Q1 Q2 V1 and V2. Q1 and A2 are constant. V1 and V2 are calculated.
I will explain the functions i already did (some have mistakes):
calcX0 - calculates the initial vector that will be used to optimize
parteX - divides the entrance vector X in the 4 subvectors to be used in other functions
juntaX - joins the 4 sub vectors back to X
dados - inicializes the given values for the problem
calcr - calculates the value of R that depends on H and deltaH (giving errors)
calch - calculates h
calcdeltah- calculates delta h
LB are the lower bounds from the restrictions
UB are the upper bounds for the restrictions
restricoes is where all the restrictions of the problem should be
The problem is about a hidro electric power station so thats why there are 2 different stations (and 2 R's and delta h and so on)
Completo is still empty but thats where i should calculate the target of the problem and optimize it using the function fmincon
