I know almost nothing about the inner workings of Microsoft Access. I need assistance in creating a database, forms for basic data entry, reports from the data and procedures for updating the information.
As much detail as I can muster:
I'll be tracking airplanes for sale.
The database needs to track total registered airplanes (data from federal website, excel) and airplanes for sale (from various online sources (manual data entry). This will include different models and manufactures.
I'd like to be able to report: changes to the data (from federal website), sales information (from multiple online sources) and airplanes no longer for sale (that were in the previous cycle). I also need to be able to report airplanes that for sale last month at $X and are now for sale at $Y.
Also need standard reports such as airplanes in a given state, airplanes owned by a single company, airplanes registered to a single address.
As we get into the project I'm certain there will be other reports/data entry points etc that I'll need. Looking for someone who can help me understand what exactly I am looking for.
Please feel free to ask questions and I'll do by best to better explain what I need (or think I need).

Here is some additional information.
I've attached 4 files that show the type of data I'll be using.
1) Txt file ACFTREF: This is the FAA master model type list.
2) Txt file MASTER (and MASTER2): This is the FAA master registration list (master 2 is simply a file from a different date).
3) .pdf print of website controller.com: This is the type of source of "for sale" data
(Due to freelancer.com size limitations, I've had to open the txt files and remove all other aircraft other than "Gulfstream" and save as excel files)
In this example I am only looking at data for "Gulfstream" aircraft. I can either take out all other types from both files or MS can do it for me. File 1 will be the source of only a few data points: MDL Code, Model Number, Manufacturer, and a few misc columns. This information is model specific. Next, under MASTER i'll need all the aircraft manufactured by "Gulfstream." I believe the easiest way is to use the model specific MDL code number. Next, I need every data column in the Master speadsheet.
Last is a .pdf. This will be manual data entry but the .pdf shows the kind of data i'd like to save: price, location, condition, serial number, registration number, total, etc. Also, I need sales contact information to be saved and searchable. I would like to copy/paste some of the information in the bottom of the page to save - but it doesn't need to be specially formated or searchable.
There may be multiple "for sale" data points for each aircraft.
