We have a Microsoft Access application that integrates with WinZip via VBA using the windows shell, and want to move the app from Access 2007/Windows XP/32 bit to Access 2010/Windows 7/64 bit. Due to different variable names in 64 bit windows shell API, the VBA code needs to be converted. There are descriptions of how to do this online, but we don't want to put the time into this. For someone experienced with 32 to 64-bit Access conversion, this should take less than an hour.
Because the database is huge (approx 3GB), we will send the app with sample data only. The app does a number of things: Builds 50+ separate databases, turns them into Access runtime products, and then compresses them into deliverable .zip files. The only problem is the WinZip integration.
Freelancer will need to have Microsoft Access 2010 installed in 64 bit mode, and WinZip 16.0 Pro with command line interface, and have experience with using the Windows API through VBA.
