We are looking for someone to create a small Microsoft Access 2007/2010 Database for us with the Acess Tables stored on a hosted Sharepoint 2010 backend so that it can be shared with users over the internet (I.e. so that access can be set to 'work offline' and the database can be edited then synced back later). The sharepoint setup is already in place.
The purpose of this database is to let users submit a weekly form for each week of the year, per 'project' so that the manager can press the "Report Selected Week" button and then the report shows up the CHANGES in the submitted forms between the selected report week and the PREVIOUS week, for each project. It does not need to 'calculate' the changes - only display the changed 'field' if the value in it is different from the previous week.
The form that the users fill out should be pre-populated with the data from the PREVIOUS week so that they only edit things that have changed (I.e. week 1 will be populated with blank data as there is no reporting in that week).
It should be coded so that there is 52 weeks (for the year) and the form automatically selects the week your in based on the date so that users can't enter the form for say "week 2" in "september". If no form was entered for a week then it should automatically submit the previous weeks data for that week.. For example if no forms were ever entered and you called up "report week 52" then it would show 51 copies of the data in "form week 1" - and in this case it would report that 'nothing has changed' since week 52 is the same as week 51's data and so forth.
