Hello,
I'm working on a proposal for an app and I need a rough estimate.
Note that I will be doing all design and artwork myself. (During the development process you will have to indicate what graphics you need from me and what formats. I am a designer with 15 years experience and have done many interface projects.)
Purpose:
This is a "Business rating" app that will allow a user to look up nearby businesses and rate them positive, neutral, or negative.
Usage:
1) User creates an account and logs in
2) User looks up nearby businesses by GPS location (Exactly like Facebook "Check-In" in the FB app)
3) User views a business rating
4) User gives new rating to business, overwriting the old rating, with optional comment.
5) Lite (free) version contains ads, Full version (pay) will have no ads and comment ability
5) Data to be stored on website in MySQL database (like GasBuddy)
6) eventually, another project will be to duplicate the functionality on the website, as well as an iOS version.
I have a wireframe to show you as well that will help with the explanation. Please see the attached file.
Note that I am unsure of the price and an in need of an estimate.
I want to make it clear that I don't actually have this project in the can yet, but I'm in the stage where I need have the information to tell my client "It will cost about this much."
