Name of the game: ?????, i.e. card rubbing winner.
Premise: in Hong Kong there is a famous movie called God of gamblers. In the movie, the players have a set of special powers. The most powerful special power is the ability to 'rub' a card and turn it into any card of your liking. As such, when playing the gambling game 'show hand', your fifth and final card which is placed face down can be changed to your liking, as long as the special power is used correctly.
Game concept: (1) casual gamers play with no money involved to progress in the game by unlocking winning combinations of progressive higher payouts i.e. one pair x 2 / two pairs x 5 / three of a kind x 10 / straight x 15 / flush x 20 / full house x 40 / four of a kind x 50 / straight flush x 100. Casual gamers bet zero, and can enjoy the rubbing fun aspect of the game without money involved. At the same time, unlocking progressive higher payouts allow for access during real money betting. The rubbing effect is judged by how fast the player rubs the screen with the palm of his hand, with progressive difficulty from one pair being easiest and royal flush being hardest. (2) gambling players bet with bitcoins (BTC ), based on the outcome of satoshidice.com (SD). Recharge and payout mechanism is handled through third party applications. Winnings and balance are handled on the app. In the rare event that SD does not return a result in 15 seconds, the server or the app calculates the result via verifying the TXID supplied by SD, and returns the result and balance with a pseudo winnings. In the even rarer event that the application has nil BTC, requiring the use of pseudo winnings, the server will make the bet on SD on behalf of the application. As per casual gaming, gambling bets can only be made on unlocked combinations, and once BTC is involved, the game mechanism no longer involves rubbing, and calculates outcome purely on the result from SD.
Buying BTC: Hong Kong version uses facebook credits to exchange. Macau version uses Taobao credits to exchange.
