Hi all. I need one of you to make some changes in my Android app. I have an app with a ListView that contains both text and images. See image0. Right now all this data is stores "inside" the app, with all the text in a java-file and the images in the drawable folder. See image1 and image2. I would like instead to fetche both text and images "online" if possible. The text could maybe be fetched from an xml-file from a website, like in this example http://www.androidhive.info/2011/11/android-xml-parsing-tutorial/, and the images could maybe be fetched from an url. I am not 100% sure how this is done, so you would have to make the best solution. The app itself is programmed in Eclipse, but I would need all the updates, in text and images not to be done in Eclipse. So therefore i think xml parsing could be the way to do it. Remember i would need the most simple solution as possible, so it is easy to update the application.
You can take a look on my current app with the apk file, and you can see the ListView is very "laggy" because of the size of the images.
