I have a Microsoft Access database that contains three (3) tables. The tables are:
tblBusinesses - contains business name, address, phone number, three emergency contact names (linked to tblPersons), and two checkboxes
tblPersons - contains name, title, business (linked to tblBusinesses), contact type (business, home, mobile, fax), phone number (repeated 3 times), and notes
tblVisits - date of visit, time of visit, business (linked to tblBusinesses), visit type (initial, collection, routine)
I would like an application that would allow me to lookup a business and see all of its information. If I click on an emergency contact for that business it would show me the person's information, if I click on a phone number anywhere in the application it would take me to the dialer to call that number. In addition I would like to be able to add visits to the tblVisits table, update the tblBusinesses contact information and update the tblPersons contact information.
Pressing the menu button from anywhere in the program would give the user the ability to edit an entry or to add a visit, business, or person. The database does not need to remain an Access database, but that would be preferred since it would make it easier to view information on a PC.
