Project Description:
The App should be able to:
- periodically connect to a remote database to refresh data (which is maybe stored in a local copy)
- use Barcode scanner to read PN of product and search by it in the database
- Use barcode scanner and empty fields to send info about new products to an email address or temp database for review before inserting it into live DB
The app should basically be a searchabe product catalogue. Have 2-3 screens totally. After reading the barcode (or entering the PN manually) it should search the local DB and provide user with info about the product in attractive (but still technical) and readable form. The DB should, besides the PN, have maybe 10 additional fileds containing characteristics of the product (like Manufacturer, dimensions, weight, etc). Other screens should be "Add new product", "About", "Contact" and maybe later, "Go Premium"... Thats basically it.
I just need the core app developed with prepared links for a remote database and creation of local one with working API-s for barcode and DB communication. All the other adjustments (names and arrangement of fields, visual style, DB queries) i will do by myself.
Also, before finishing the project, i would like to be able to communicate with You to maybe solve additional issues or if i have any questions about functionalities of the app.
