Project Description:
We want to develop child protection security software for Android (2.2, 3.1) tablets.
The main target of the software is block unwanted internet activity. We have dailly updated whitelist of domain names.
1. Users can only visit webpages which are in whitelist. all the other internet activity must be blocked.
2. Software must work for both Wi-fi and 3G connections.
3. Users never interrupt/stop/hack/uninstall etc.. this software! (Unkillable)
4. Software will download whitelist Daily from our https server.
5. Software must upgrade (in quite mode ) itself from our https server.
For building this software;
If you want you can use iptables and DNS redirection for DNS requests. (we can put allowed domain names to our DNS server)
Testing will be on a commercial product (like Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy Tab 7").
