Project Description:
We are trying to develop a weight scale application where you can count money based off the weight.
The GUI is set up, it is attached. The logic is done. We need coders.
We want to use this application on an android mobile phone. The code of the scale will be posted along with this post.
Page 1 will have 3 buttons.
1. the instructions and tips- basic page.
2. start- takes you to start page.
3. settings- takes you to the settings page
Functions:
-inputs information from elane bluetooth weight scale and converts it to a currency amount.
-counts money
-calibrates bluetooth scale
-adds money
Start page
-in the upper left, the up and down button decide your paramters. In this order the parameters are pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, ones, fives, tens, twenties, fifties, hundreds, other.
each parameter has a factor pennies= .01, nickels= .05, dimes= .1 quarters =.25 dollars=1, fives=5, tens=10, twenties=20, fifties=50, hundreds=100.
-in the upper left buttons, when you hold onto the paramter, it will take you to "totals" page
-on the upper right, it will display the variable called penniesQTY (which equals penniesWEIGHT/pennyWEIGHS+penniesVALUE/.01. next to the matching value of its respective parameter. ie pennies= $.01, nickels =$.05, in the top right corners in our GUI start page, we measured 32 pennies, 32 will appear next to $.01.
-the middle right needs to display penniesWEIGHTx.01 in a box. penniesVALUE = penniesQTY x .01 (.01= the value of a penny)
-the "Grand Total" is displayed in the bottom right. Grand Total= penniesVALUE+ nickelsVALUE+ dimesVALUE+ quartersVALUE+ onesVALUE+ fivesVALUE+ tensVALUE+ twentiesVALUE+ fiftiesVALUE+ hundredsVALUE+ otherVALUE+ parameterFactor x parameterWEIGHT/parameterWEIGHS
-the clear button on the left will clear parameterVALUE (penniesValue in this case)
-when you hold the clear button, it will take you to "clear" page
-when you go to the "start" page, everything will be set to zero and the paramter will be set to pennies. The program needs to calibrate the scale to zero as soon as the start page is initiated.
-as soon as you put a weight down, it holds the value. when you remove the weight, it adds the value to parameterVALUE. After removing the cup, it will automatically take the user to the next parameter. In this example. after weighing 32 pennies and removing them, penniesVALUE= .32 and nickels will be the next parameter. the rest of the sequence will follow the pattern.

clear now- clears grandTotal
show totals- takes you to totals page
cancel- takes you to last known parameter
totals
-Whenever they press on a number, it will take them to that parameter in the start page.
-clear all clears grandTotal and takes them to the start page with a paramter of pennies.
-takes user to previous parameter.
