We are seeking bids for building a platform for mobile paging and quick response.
Users (the general public) will run a mobile app and/or a webpage for submitting pre-defined task requests into a queue.
Operators (our employees) will receive alerts when users assigned to them create new tasks in the queue. Alerts must be received by Operators in near real-time as they are submitted by Users. This timing is crucial to the success of the platform because it is aimed at increasing efficiency.
Managers (also our employees) will be able to oversee the whole queue through their own unique interface and reassign tasks to different Operators.
Each task's events will be recorded for measuring turn-around time and generating reports of the efficiency of individual Operators and the company as a whole.
Each task may have some optional data that we need to capture both for passing on to the Operator as part of the alert, and for association with the User as a long-term trend. (Users may make the same requests repetitively and we want to monitor that for both analytics and for making their app anticipate the request in future versions.)
The back-end of the platform would ideally be built in MySQL for running in Amazon Web Services.
The front-end would be an HTML 5 web interface and mobile apps: one each for Users, Operators, and Managers. (Although the latter two could be exclusively HTML5 to start.)
We selected medium budget but are mostly looking for what devs tell us is correct pricing. Nobody develops for share anymore so we will seek funding if necessary.
