2. Create an editable app that includes:
a. Editable startup page for app (we have created proto page already and will provide)
b. Instruction page that has images and content to explain how the app works to user ( we have this created proto version and will provide)
c. Active page where a solid model is shown to user (we will provide .obj file but we need it converted for use by iOS). There will be acceleration limits we will provide and the acceleration is to be filtered to only measure the vector in the level plane and affect the solid model appropriately with motion effects (tilts, jiggles and a sound). The acceleration will affect the iPhone meaning that if the iPhone is placed at a tilt and angle the acceleration is converted into a single, level vector. The solid model and an audible alarm tone will be affected by the acceleration forces that are converted into the horizontal (level plane) acceleration values. We have proto acceleration values to use that we will provide.
d. Addtional content page with "hot buttons" to additional subpages that will have a text and images that can be scrolled down (we will provide text and images and structure of page). These additional pages will also have links to other websites.
We have basic app working but need to modify then accelerometer code. We will provide the Xcode files, the .obj file that needs to be input into the app. (Basically removing the teapot and replacing it with our .obj file).
A confidentiality agreement will need to be signed and you will have no rights to use the developed code or use it as a public reference moving forward.
This is the basic app and a more complex version will require development within 6 months. The follow-on project will require bluetooth programming, database management, networking and social network knowledge and experience.
As mentioned we will provide complete Xcode files for current app, solid model and graphics for icons and pages. If you know how to program the accelerometer this is a 3-4 hour project max for an experienced programmer. The follow-on project will require significantly more coding.
We need the project to start immediately, require the first working version within 1 week and be concluded no later than 2 weeks from start.
Prior to accepting a bid we will create a formal statement of work with milestones so we both agree to what is being done and what the deliverables are. This is into ensure we both clearly define the expectations for the deliverables and the amount of time that is expected. Again, we do not expect this to exceed 3-4 hours for an experienced programmer once we have both clearly outlined expectations.
