I recently released an iphone app identification guide to the fishes of the tropical eastern Pacific. You can find this free app in iTunes by searching for "fishes east Pacific".
I now want to develop an equivalent android phone app that looks and works like the iphone app (within the limits of differences in how apple and android devices display information) and has all the same functionality as the iphone app.
The iphone app is a stand-alone app that does not need a connection to a server to function. I would supply the android contractee with the SQlite database used by the iphone app (which is what would be used in the android app), together with a map of relationships between the tables in that database.
Note that the code for the app would become the property of my organization upon completion of the project (completion = acceptance of the app in the Android market and final payment to the contractee).
The attachment provides an overview of the iphone app and its functionality.
