Background: When couples with kids divorce in Texas, a law called the Standard Possession Order determines when the children spend time with each parent. Even though it is called a Standard Possession Order, there are a few options that can be elected.
I built a website here http://standardpossessionorder.com which allows the user to customize the Standard Possession Order, then purchase it as a download from gumroad.com. Upon purchase, the user receives an ics file which the user can easily add to his calendar.
The proposed app - the standard possession order app - is not intended to be a copy of the website. The website is referenced only to help explain how the app would work.
I have attached screenshots of another iPhone/iPad app, my child support calculator app. Please follow this general color and functional scheme. Also, when the child support app starts, there is a single box in the middle of the screen that expands to the five boxes shown. I can furnish you the source code of the child support calculator app if that would help you with the standard possession order app.
The app need work only in portrait view - no landscape view required.
On the initial page of the app, the buttons, and their functions, would be:
Calculator would be renamed Choose Options and would take the user to another page within the app that would be much like this page from the website: http://standardpossessionorder.com/choose_Texas_Standard_Possession_Orders_visitation_calendars.html . On this page the user would select his choices. When the user clicked on Submit, he would be told click to purchase just like the website works. When the user clicked on click to purchase, he would be taken to the gumroad.com site to buy his calendar.
The second button would be renamed About. When the user clicked on that button, he would be taken to an html page where I would provide some text.
The third button would be renamed Images. When the user clicked on this button, he would be taken to a page which would display images of a sample calendar on various devices. The website does not yet have this functionality although I have made images, some of which are attached. There will probably be six images total.
The fourth button would be renamed Installation. When the user clicked on that button, he would be taken to an html page where I would provide some text.
The fifth button would be renamed Resources. When the user clicked on that button, he would be taken to an html page where I would provide some text.
I prefer to work with individual developers rather than with firms. I've found I get a better product that way, plus some developers turn around an outsource the project, which is a deal killer. Also, no placeholder bids, please.
Any questions, let me know.
