Hi all, the company Im working for is looking to develop specific Android application.
We want to hire 01 developer for this task.
Previous experience developing application that deals with technologies (2G, 3G, LTE), channels, signal levels, etc is mandatory.
Any people interested please contact me by PM to discuss further details.
Details about the application:
We need to develop Android application that will allow user to perform carrier lock and/or cell lock.
Application must modify normal phone behavior to choose channels or cells even if they are not the Best Server at any given moment.
In 3G, user must be able to select any desired channel (UARFCN) even if 1st or 2nd carrier is better or has priority over the other UARFCN.
In 2G, user must be able to select any BCCH even if another BCCH will normally take precedence or priority.
In 3G, user most be able to select any PSC (primary scrambling Code) regardless if it is or not the Best Server. This selection should be done either before or after Carrier Lock procedure.
In 2G: User must be able to select any BSIC regardless if it is or not the Best Server. This selection should be done either before or after Carrier Lock procedure.
User should be able to perform Carrier Lock or Cell Lock in 2G or 3G, either in idle mode (thus, cell reselection will be "forced") or during an ongoing call (thus, forcing phone to perform handover even if network conditions will not perform handover in normal operation)
Although almost any Android phone will do, we prefer it to be done on Samsung, LG or Motorola models based on QUALCOMM chipset.
Whatever phone model is chosen, the only requirement is that phone must have Serial COM Diagnostics Port that will allows us to connect that phone to a laptop with specific software that will collect information from the phone.
Suggested phone models are:
Samsung Galaxy S2
Samsung Galaxy S3
Samsung Galaxy ACE II (not the I but the II)
LG Optimus E400f
Motorola Master XT605
This is a serious offer, so any people interested please contact me by PM to discuss further details.
