We are in need of a business expense app. We have a design already in place we just need someone who knows iPhone apps and is an EXPERT in Tesseract OCR to implement our design. Our entire app revolves around OCR so it will need to be 90% - 95% accurate (or as close as possible). If this means you needs to train Tesseract to get it there then that will need to be done! We will be requesting the source code at the end of the project so that we can be in control of the app from then forward! The app will need to scan Receipts and Save an image for later reference. Then it would need to "auto-fill" the different amounts and text on the receipt into text boxes that could be editable, just in case something was "read" incorrectly. Once it all looked ok, it would need to be Saved for later Review/Submission. Our guys would need to be able to Look Back at Receipts in Months (3), Weeks, and Days. Finally, they would need to be able to Submit the Weekly Report as a CSV/Excel file WITH the Receipt Images included as attachments for our expense department to quickly review and enter for reimbursement!
I fyou feel like you can deliver this within a 2-3 weeks time please apply. I will not accept anyone who does not have any or good ratings. If you do not have experience in OCR please do not apply. This is our second attempt to get this done and the first guy said he could do Tesseract OCR but it could only read at 5% accuracy because he was not an expert on OCR he just knew how to integrate it into the app!

As clarification, we will need to be able to crop the receipts before doing the OCR action and the text that is read from the receipt needs one column of the text boxes (left column) to be filled with the description of what the item is and the other column (right column) to be filled with the prices/amount of the corresponding item. It should then auto calculate the totals based on the right column and have the total listed at the button of the page! You can see what I am speaking about better with the "Edit Screen" I attached!
