We have a device which measures some data in industrial plants. The data from the device ( it is simple data in form of 4 or 5 numbers) are sent to our server.
The Iphone application needs to connect to our server, read the data and display it on the phone in a nice format for the costumer. Please have the following in mind:
1- service is subscription base. the app can be downloaded free, but to use it they have to pay a monthly fee
2- there are several (1000+) of these devices for various people with various accounts.
3- the data collection is not 24/7. the device is used once a day or so.
