Project Description:
Hi there,
We are looking for an app to be developed for a game on our university campus. It is like a giant game of tag where users log onto an iphone & Android app.
There is a virtual briefcase virtually placed on the game map. The first persn who gets within 5 metres of the case (using gps on their phone) can click grab the case.
They then have possession of the case and must run away from all other players in the game. Other players must get within 5 meters of the user (phone) who has the case and can click steal the case if they are within 5 meters. If they steal it they must begin to run away from the other users. All users of the app show up as a little icon on the university map.
The aim of the game is to hold onto the case until STOP is called by the system administrator. The person with that case will then win a prize.
To use the app the users must enter there details including phone number and email address which all needs to be captured and must be viewable to the games administrators via PC.
We want an something very similar to an app run by a sydney radio station 2DayFM but confined within the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia
