Project Description:
The video stream application for mobile phones will work similar to Qik or Ustream.
The purpose is to send live feed streaming video from mobile to mobile via a website platform.
Why not use Qik or Ustream? Because I would need their permission to do so, and each user needs to sign up with their account.
My Application is for mass media purposes where news can be transmitted live from anywhere in the world using a cell phone camera. The video stream will go thru a website where it can be watched on a computer or from a cell phone App which is connected to that website.
The website would also have to be built for that purpose. The app would be used on I Phones and Androids, it would also have a few extra components to it like a map page, where the user can use their GPS coordinates to find their current location, as well as have a Facebook status integration plus a few more extra components which my partner can explain a little more in detail if this is feasible.
