An app that can browse a website with links containing get data with 4 fields, action, contract, vehicle and other
Users would need to be able to login with a username and password verified from the website but still allow an offline mode where the user would enter data in place of information normally obtained from the webserver.
When the links are tapped two actions need to occur
1. Post data containing the 4 fields from the link, GPS coordinates from the phone and a date time/stamp from the phone's clock in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format will be sent to a URL on a webserver who's address is specified in the settings for app over https. This webserver will most probably be using a self signed certificate. I would like to avoid having users tap to accept the certificate each time the you do when you visit a website with a self signed certificate in the mobile browsers, if this request is something that is problematic let me know and we will just arrange a trusted certificate.
2. the user is taken to a camera interface that allows them to take pictures and video with and overlay (overlaying the text on the video is not required but is desirable) for the fields that have been sent in action 1 in the format of %fieldname%: $value%
All pictures and video taken should be saved to local storage on the phone.
Once has taken photos and video there should be a button for them to tap that will send another lot of post data to the webserver containing current GPS and date/time data and take the user back to the webpage.
In the event that the app is unable to contact the webserver the should be able to manually enter information to be used in the fields that would normally be supplied by and the post information that would normally be sent to the webserver be stored in a delimited or xml file that can later be uploaded to a computer along with the images and video.
