Project Description:
Pixelicker Studios is looking for an experienced Programmer to program a relatively simple 2D game for iOS and possibly Android.
We'll need from you:
- Proficiency in C++/C# and Unity
- Proven iOS game development experience (Android experience a plus)
- Ablility to clearly and consistently communicate
This is a contract job with compensation based on level of skill.
The game is a very original concept, with gameplay that involves catching and dodging objects that use physics.
Power-ups are also an important mechanic.
Think power-ups similar to 'Jetpack Joyride' in terms of animation, but with more gestures (swipe, circle, tap) behind them.
You'll also need to code in fluid transitional animations, with quality similar to 'OMG Pirates!'.
We intend on breaking the top 20 on iTunes with this game. The gameplay and quality of art will rival that of the best titles on there. But we need your help!
We are just starting out, but once we've released the game, we will be needing full-time programmers, so there will be more work down the road if this contract works out.
Our homebase is in Toronto.
