Hi, I'm just inquiring really...
I have an idea for an iPhone app that I will list free on the app store... I've looked into starting iOS developing but the more i look into it the more complicated it gets! so hoping to find some help.
Basically i think it's a web-service table-view app which is based on a certain type of shop within near-by areas for users. The user will use the app to locate a nearest shop by either touching 'near me' or entering a postcode. They will then tap on that shop and it will take you to another view which will include: shop address, opening times, telephone number, a small Google map API with a pin drop on the shop and also have a link which will load a PDF file price list for selected products for sale in that shop. The PDF file will also be listed on my site and ideally that's where the link will fetch it from. The reason i am choosing a web service view is because as time goes on there will continually be updates to the results... also because i don't want to keep having to keep updating the app. All I want is the basic coding to be done and a bit of information to keep it running using the web service on the results. for example look at the Engadget app or a news app? The results in the table view are always going to be different!
I can provide a prototype slideshow of how I want the app to be made and work if interested...
