I am an Owner Operator and have a very specific type of calculator that I need an app for on my business mobile android device.
A simple 1 to 2 page app. There are several distinct variables that go hand in hand witrh the industry. I want to have the app set up to where on the startup page, it has 5 fields for numeric input. Each labeled accordingly. i.e. Loaded Miles, Empty Miles, Additional Stop Pay, Heavy Haul pay,& Reimbursments.
Then in bold Caps, seperating the miealage based figures and the percentage amount type in larger font size ( OR )
Then a Single field labeled Percentage Pay with the input field next to that.
Then on the bottom of that page it Should have a field labeled Est. Take Home Revenue.
That is the complete idea though there needs to be some way, perhaps from the menu and settings, to add the different variables such as-
Rate per Loaded mile _____
Rate per Empty Mile _______
Fuel Surcharge per mile _____
Heavy Haul Per Mile Rate _____
Additional Stop Pay per Stop_____
And a couple other variables And the deductions such ass
1rst Fuel Amount ____
2nd Fuel _____
Maintenance Rate per mile ______
Additional deductables ______
Business daily fee's _______
and one or two more. That gives the general idea.
On the second page of the app, I guess you should have some sort of navigation button to switch between the two pages but on the second page, I would like a break down of the catagorical totals i.e.-
Total Miles ____
Total Mielage pay (Loaded miles + empty Miles Heavy Haul pay + Fuel Surcharge) ______
Total Fuel Expense this trip ________
Daily Business Expense Total ________
Then display on the bottom of that page the Total Gross, The total Net & what the percentage of the net is from the Gross.
It is like having a couple of spreadsheets woirking with each other. That is what I have been using thus far but would like to be able to get it in app form, and then be able to share it with my fellow drivers for a small fee to recoop my cost involved.
In the event one of you would like the job, I will sit down and write out a comprehensive description. It is awful close to the descriptions up above but there are a couple things in the expenses I left out ect that should be entered into the variables.
