Write a simple iOS application for iPad and iPod Touch and iPhone that runs in the background and tracks in a log every 15 minutes what application is the current running application visible to the user (i.e. Mail, Safari, iTunes, etc.). Not all applications, just the top visible application to the user. At that same time, it takes a screenshot of the screen.
The app stores the name of the "top visible" application, the filename of the screenshot, the ID of the device and the date/time of the screenshot... all in a comma deliminated text file and stores it locally. If connected to the internet, it posts that text file and screen shot image file to an FTP server (credentials to be provided later). If no internet connection, it stores it locally. After another 15 minutes, it creates another entry of the same information. Seeks to send it via FTP if connected to the internet... along with any other entries or screenshots that were obtained earlier and not sent earlier because there was no internet connection before.
