I want to create a mobile game for the Apple iPhone platform - It will be a hybrid text based RPG with minimal graphic requirements.
I wish to discuss the coding side of the project with a capable developer to get a better understanding of the timeframe, logistics and costs involved in the creation of this application.
The game will revolve around the user creating a character that they will then ‘grow’ using a typical stat/exp system. There will be several storylines included that become active once you have reached a particular stat/exp level as required.
The idea is to take this player on a journey through the game growing the character from level to level, unlocking new items and storylines as you progress. The progression will be based on gaining as many stat points as possible to unlock new tasks and rewards.
The app will take inspiration in functionality from the popular style of titles such as ;

Please review the above apps so you can gain an idea of the direction of development required.
The app data will be saved locally to the device with no server side requirements at this point.
What do I want?
Suitable developers to put an educated bid /timeframe on my project using the above information – I need to quickly asses if the project is achievable in budget or if further fund raising is required.
Please provide examples of previous work for my review via a Private Message and ask project questions / request specific information that you require to ensure you have a good understanding of the project direction.
I will then short list several developers from the bid process to engage further and discuss the project in more detail.
The intention is to get this application to a release ready stage and then submit it to iTunes for distribution via the AppStore.
