iPhone app for for a news sit.

The app will have below functionalities.

1) Upon launch an automatic mechanism that downloads the latest news content text to the user’s device
• Needs to be robust and deal with bandwidth issues
• Allow user older content until the new content is successfully downloaded

2) Content for about 3 sections and about 12 categories of news items:

• The app UI and technical design should make it easy to add/change the channels in future and easy adjust to new ios versions

3) Users should have the ability to browse through the content headings efficiently

4) Full capabilities to view the entire content

5) A separate area wich catches and shows a text and banner from a fixed url wich changes regularly but is on a fixed location including a if is null image

6) Rendering of news items/full article downloading images when the full news item is viewed

7) Ability to share a news item or video via email
• The app will use the email client on the smartphone and give a standard text with link:
• The email content will be textual with a URL landing on our website

9) A Feedback/Contact Us form that sends an email

10) Ability for the user to mark favourite articles

11) ) A settings page for various things that user can adjust (landing / favourite category , )
