I need my own version of UNICENTA with support for menu recipes. I want the Configuration user friendly in the settings , and be able to control the iventory of this items that compose a recipe. Also,there should an option to register the incoming products into the restaurant, at least I need to keep track of the PO or REQ # for each of these transactions. Physical inventory report and an option to waste items. reports that will show differences between physica inventory and current Qty on hand for auditing.
Example: A TACO can be made of 0.25 meat X , 0.10 gms of Tomatoe , 0.05 gms. onion.
In the POS, only taco with options No Tomatoe or No onion, based on these two selections, the system will substract 0.25 meat from the meat item, and 0.10 gms. of tomatoe if No tomation option was selected, the same for the onion.
We don't buy TACOS, We buy meat, tomatoes and onions and enter weight , instaed of units in the inventory, that's why the recipes are also based on weights. (so for the system is transparent, since for it, it's just units no conversion is neccesary).
So, We enter the purchase order or Req. #, into system along with the items bought, and it will have to increase the amount in the inventory side. Sometimes we will print a physican inventory report to consolidate what We have in the restaurant, the personnel can adjust the qty on hand but We need to keep track of those adjustments too, so We will need a report for which adjustems were made in a range of dates.
